congregations
envisioned
a seniors residential
complex
which included
nursing
home facilities.
The
Toronto Finnish-Canadian
Seniors
Centre (Suomi-Koti, Toronto)
opened
in 1987 with rental
and
home-privilege
(life-lease)
apartments.
In 1992,
the thirty-four
bed
nursing home facility
was
added to the Centre
to
further provide
for
the needs of
the
Toronto
Finnish
Community
.
